You have just killed the goblin hexer and all it's minions. Save for the one warrior who surrendered to you. The dungeon is dark, dank and reeks of goblin. What now?
Your goblin prisoner is not struggling with his bindings.

She leans down by the goblin frowning as she sighs, taking a moment to carefully bind his wounds (using healing skill, so as not actually healing him) to help him from bleeding out "Why did you and yours kill the miners and invade the mine? I'd rather not have had to fight at all, but i am admittedly curious (Diplomacy Check, 1d20+7) what provoked your kind. Was it simple greed?"

Maglor's skulks to a shadowed corner, his face clearly showing his displeasure with their new captive. "Let me know if our new friend needs any help with his answers." The elf picks up a small stone and begins to skillfully sharpen his longsword, never once taking his eyes off the green humanoid.

The goblin looks up at the paladin with large saucer like black eyes full of fright.
"Came through big door, couldn't get back out. We needed new place to live. Mine close, easy defend find food."

She frowns "So you killed innocents because it was easy? How cruel. What can you offer us for your life then"

Jin watches the interrogation in intent silence, his attention spread between the bound goblin and back towards the crawlspace from where the party had come. The beginnings of a fiery spell lay at his fingertips, and a faint red glow from his gloved hands accompanied the light from the sunrod in Krystal's belt--he would be ready to act should back-up come for their captive.

The Goblin stutters for a few moments, his eyes wide. "Me...me...me good cook!! Keep things clean. Clear sword, clear armor. Me do anything, me no want die!"
At this the goblin breaks out in tears.

Sariel smirks, "Yup, that's a goblin alright. Like I said before, not noted for their bravery. O'course, I'd like to spare the wretch, I'm not above a little pity for the miserable things. But I don't think bringin' him along with us is much o' a solution either. As much as the creature's grovelin now, can't say he won't be above stickin a sword or a dagger in our backs once we're surrounded by other nasties and he thinks he's got a clear shot."

Keeping one eye on the twin corridors behind the party, Jin replies, "I agree. It would be safest if we handled him with...a certain degree of finality. Though," at this he looks at Krystal, "I don't know what our Paladin would think of that."
He gestures a glowing hand at the bound goblin, addressing him for the first time. "But perhaps you'd be willing to answer a question or two more, sir. Were your comrades in this room the last of your people? It would be lucky of us to have caught all of you snugly in the mine all at the same time. As well defended as this fortification was, you would've needed food, supplies. Did we happen to miss any foraging parties or patrol detail out in the field on our way in?" He glances back towards the crawlspace, "Though I suppose if we did, we'll meet them soon."

The goblin's eyes widen as Jin approaches with his glowing ball of energy, not knowing that it is harmless light.
"No all kin dead, you kill all. More kin far far away, through door. But can't go through door anymore. Door blocked by strong strong magic."
The goblin points to the magically sealed door behind him. The door is made of sturdy oak, inscribed with runes, bands of energy crisscross from the top corners to the bottom. Even trying to touch the door results in a powerful pulse of force that, pushes you back ten feet. Although, it does seem to be harmless other than that.
"Kin walk through rift, and end up in weird room. Old room, no food or water, just skeletons. Rift closes, and kin see a door, we go through door and end up here. So no more kin. Powerful masters killed them all."

Krystal humms and sighs "i think we should let him go, without arms or armor, He seems to have honestly been sent here as bad luck.... Or execute him for the innocents he killed. They seem our best solutions without keeping a captive"

Maglor grumbles, "I believe nothing form this wretch. If we let him go he will return with others! Leave him bound I say. perhaps we collect him before we return to town... perhaps we won't." The elf checks his blade for sharpness, eyes the goblin distastefully.
